President’s Message

Last month when I said I was eager to get back to normal operations, I wasn’t kidding. I really want this extra layer of rules to go away, but this COVID thing keeps on hanging on like a bad cold, making our planning process an exercise in creativity. So, for now, we will continue forward in identifying our events, and making adjustments as we go.

Despite these difficulties, we should not lose sight of our purpose, as the need for a Men’s Club has never been more important. This need is demonstrated by our three club tenets: Fellowship – the need to be in the company of our brothers for discussion and support. Service – the need to offer your talent and serve the community. And Spirituality – the need to pray together as men and fathers. Please join us to fulfill this mission.

The February meeting will be on the 1st day of the month, so look for the ZOOM invite in this Newsletter. We will need to review our annual events and survey the interest so that the board can work out the dates. Note that the Board meetings are currently ZOOM’d on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, and we appreciate your input. Also, we are actively seeking speakers on various topics; let me know if you have a contact.

BTW: Calling all California history buffs: I thoroughly enjoyed the first speaker event of the Mission 225 anniversary and look forward to the next one.

See you at the meeting.

Greg
