St. Joseph’s Creche Teardown

On a cold and wet Saturday, a handful of the Men of St. Joseph converged on the hall church to dismantle the creche and put away the Nativity statues. Shortly after starting the skies opened up and one of the series of storms from the “Pineapple Express” dumped rain. Fortunately, the work of taking the creche apart and packing up the statues was all indoors in the hall/church. Unfortunately, the statues’
cardboard boxes had to be retrieved from the storage garage and got wet bringing them to hall. They had a chance to dry out a bit while the creche work was ongoing. The whole effort took about 90 minutes, the rain relented and coffee and donuts were shared afterwards. Thanks to Lou Zenzen,
Steve Macias, Greg Stephens, and Mike Gaffey for making this happen.
