President’s October 2026 Message

Now that summer is over and fall is around the corner we have some more events in line with the season. The parish festival coming up on October 11 will have us grilling traditional American fare; hamburgers and hot dogs. Lou Zenzen will be soliciting volunteers to help throughout the day. There will be some events to keep us entertained as we man the BBQ grill and we won’t want to miss the raffle drawings with several cash prizes at the end of the day.

In November we will have our annual retreat at the St. Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Baptista on Nov 20-22. This is our primary spiritual event of the year and is open to all men of the parish.  The theme this year is “Following Christ in the Later Seasons of Life,” and the retreat will be presided over by Fr. For our general meeting this month our speaker will be Fr. Thi and he will give us a run down on his first year here at St. Joseph’s as well as upcoming events. This will be a great opportunity to gain an insight into his views and to ask questions and I look forward to seeing you there.
