Last year, the proceeds from this event helped repair the Mission Museum adobe exterior walls, and we also launched the initiative to restore the Mater Dolorosa (Mother of Sorrows) painting now hanging in the Mission Church. For 2026, we are raising funds to restore the exterior of the Mission Church, Fremont’s dominant attraction and the pride of the Mission San Jose community. It is both a California Historic Landmark and a National Registered Historic Place. Our June 13th Gala is a vital component of our ongoing efforts to raise the funds necessary to preserve and revitalize this cherished landmark.
