June is the beginning of summer and it’s time for graduations, Father’s Day and Bar-be-ques. And to kick it off we have been asked to BBQ for the Family of Faith year end celebration. More details are in the newsletter. We are also planning a BBQ and fun outdoor event for our July 7th general meeting. We will also welcome our new associate pastor, Fr. Garrett McGowan at that time.

For our June 2nd general meeting we will be reviewing the encyclical letter entitled MAGNIFICA HUMANITAS which was just released by Pope Leo XIV. This is on safeguarding the human person in the time of Artificial Intelligence. Come enjoy the company of other Men in our Parish. Light food and beverages will be provided.

Men's Ministry June Fellowship Event - 2nd. June

|
All men in our Parish are invited to the Men's Ministry Fellowship event on 2nd. June 2026 at 7:00PM in the Parish hall.
|
Our speaker will be Herb Delorosa who will present and lead a discussion on Pope Leo XIV's latest letter released on May 25th. on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Magnifica Humanitas. This letter is an important and timely guide for Catholics in this day and Age. AI is a technology which will have a profound impact on humanity for decades to come.

Only a few tickets left for our June 13, 2026 Founder’s Gala celebrating over 50 years of restoration and preservation projects for the Mission. Last year, the proceeds from this event helped repair the Mission Museum adobe exterior walls, and we also launched the initiative to restore the Mater Dolorosa (Mother of Sorrows) painting now hanging in the Mission Church. For 2026, we are raising funds to restore the exterior of the Mission Church, Fremont’s dominant attraction and the pride of the Mission San Jose community. It is both a California Historic Landmark and a National Registered Historic Place. Our June 13th Gala is a vital component of our ongoing efforts to raise the funds necessary to preserve and revitalize this cherished landmark.

Summer 2026 Parish Clean Up Day- Come Help
|

Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM** for a day of community and service! Our Signup Genius is ready, and we want you to be part of this event. Please CLICK HERE to sign up.

We will spend the morning cleaning and improving our church and grounds. Whether you can stay for the whole time or just come by for a bit, your help makes a big difference!

Please meet at the Holy Family Picnic area at **9:00 AM** with your assigned leaders. If you can, bring extra cleaning supplies to help us out even more!
|
As a thank-you for your hard work, we will provide a delicious lunch for all volunteers.

- May 31st. Faith and Family BBQ at the Holy Family Picnic Area, volunteers needed - contact Lou Zenzen
- June 2nd. Men's Ministry Fellowship event in the Parish Hall at 7:00PM
- June 11th. 229th. Anniversary of Mission San Jose (Founded 1797)
- June13th. 2026 Our Lady of Fatima Mass and Rosary Procession. Our Ministry will provide volunteers to help with the procession.
- June 13th. Meet Me at the Mission Founder's Gala, starting at 5:30 PM
- June 14th. Rosales Opus Concert
