Las Posadas, a ceremonial reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem, celebrates its 40th year at Old Mission San Jose. This year, you may enjoy the tradition via ZOOM, as well as in-person on December 15th and 23rd. On those two nights, we sing Christmas carols while we process from the Mission porch to a local venue for entertainment and refreshments. Don’t miss the final night, December 23rd which will feature Christmas music performed on our magnificent organ by music director Ron McKean, followed by refreshments and a pinata for the kids.
