Las Posadas, the ceremonial reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem,
celebrates its 41st year at Old Mission San Jose. Join us for any of the nine evenings to
sing Christmas carols and process from the Mission porch to a local venue for
entertainment and refreshments. Each night is different, but the Mission hosts renowned
soprano Kristen del Rio on December 15th. Our St. Joseph School hosts December 16th.
And the final night, December 23rd, will feature Christmas music performed on our
magnificent organ by music director Ron McKean and vocalist Debbie Rossetto,
followed by refreshments and a piñata for the kids. More info at
