The Men’s Ministry has a rich history of assisting Scouts with their Eagle projects and supporting them with a donation. Recently, the Men’s Ministry approved a donation for an Eagle Scout project for Tobias Lee, a Boy Scout from Troop 120 in Fremont. He and his family are members of our parish. The project developed with Mission San Jose staff is to build a display case in the museum for our 200+ year old silver rather than storing it away in the artifact room (see attached photo from San Juan Capistrano). The Mission approved a very nice design with Tobias and committed $250 towards the completion of the project. Because this project benefits the parish, and specifically, the Mission; additional funding was sought from the Men’s Ministry. The project was presented at the February Board meeting, and Tobias received some feedback for consideration. After the presentation, the Board considered and approved a donation for the project.
