Greetings Men of St. Joseph! February found us in the lull between the new church dedication, Christmas and the beginning of Lent. Once the Christmas creche was put away, everyone had time for a break to relax, take a breath, and regroup.
In March, the parish will gear up for Soup and Stations, the 2nd St. Joseph Conference, and Easter. The Men of St. Joseph will be called upon to direct traffic and parking for the St. Joseph Conference in mid-March led by Mike Gaffey as we did for the church dedication in December. If you can help, let Mike or any of the board members know. Details will come available in the following days.
In June, the parish and community is looking forward to the 226th anniversary of the Mission founding with celebrations (and food) offered by the wonderful diverse cultures that make up our parish. The SJMM role will become clear as the June date draws near.
Lastly, Fr. Anthony has launched a Men’s Prayer group on Wednesday each week at 8 PM in the Adoration Room in the new church to pray for wider participation and involvement of the many men in the parish. If this strike a cord with you, consider attending.
