At the May meeting, we will review what I hope will have been another worthy accomplishment for the Men’s Club – a very successful Vaqueros Dinner. When we started planning over 2 months ago, the reality looked slim. Significant restriction from the City and the Health department were becoming a challenge. Fortunately, in the Spring of ’22, the break we had anticipated opened, and the power of comradery and fellowship overcame.
Also, I hope I will be able to say that we had a great turn out as far as individuals who showed up to help. This is what Men’s Club is all about; meeting and working with your fellow parishioners. Thank you to all who put in many hours planning, and then implementing this event for the Mission 225 commemoration, as well as for the parish community.
Coming up, our next event (activity) will be cooking a hamburger for the 4th graders Mission Run/Walk. More information of this at the May meeting in the Church hall – 7:00 Tuesday, May 3rd.
