VP Membership

The St. Joseph Men’s Club has a long history of supporting many local causes and we have been able to do this through our fundraising activities as well as our membership dues.  In 2020, we chose to honor our pre-pandemic commitments to support our many worthy causes even though we were not able to hold our Chuckwagon BBQ, Pancake Breakfasts, and other events due to the COVID-19 restrictions and, thus, depleted our financial reserves.  We enter 2021 faced with the same fundraising restrictions so must primarily rely on membership dues to support our ministries such as Stan Peters’ homeless ministry, SVDP, Sr. John Marie’s Pantry, and youth scholarships.

In past years, most members submitted their dues at the Christmas Party. However, due to COVID-19, the 2020 Christmas Party was canceled so we are requesting that SJMC members pay their 2021 dues by mail to our treasurer, Axel Brisken ($20 cash or check payable to St. Joseph Men’s Club).   Because volunteer opportunities have been few since the beginning of the pandemic, please consider making an additional donation in lieu of the volunteer hours that you would have normally donated.  Your contributions will go to outreach ministries that are in deep need of additional support.  If each member pays membership dues and contributes an additional amount, we will be able to provide more assistance to those who need it most.  Thanks in advance for your generosity; anything you can afford will be greatly appreciated.
