Family of Faith Ministry Picnic – May 18th

A Celebration: Parish Family of Faith Year-End Picnic and BBQ-May 18, 2025

On May 18th, our Parish Family of Faith Ministry wrapped up the year in style with a lively and heartwarming picnic, complete with delicious BBQ, games, music, and wonderful fellowship. Hosted by the Men’s Ministry, the event brought together around 300 adults and children for an afternoon of great food and even greater company.

Kicking off at 1:00 PM, the picnic began with a heartfelt prayer by Fr. Anthony, setting the tone for a day filled with gratitude and celebration. Soon after, the enticing aroma of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs filled the air, expertly grilled by our very own master chefs, David Dsilva and Tom Leen. Of course, this feast wouldn’t have been possible without Skip Phair, whose dedication to purchasing and preparing all the food ensured that everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal.

Beyond the mouthwatering BBQ, the event was buzzing with music, games, and laughter, as families and friends bonded over shared moments of joy. The spirit of community was truly alive, making the picnic an unforgettable way to close out the year.

A huge thank you goes out to all the incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly  at the picnic and  behind the scenes to make this event a success. Whether it was setting up, serving, or simply ensuring that everything ran smoothly, their efforts did not go unnoticed.

The Parish Family of Faith year-end picnic was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of togetherness, faith, and joy. Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
