There was a lot of interest from the membership to find out more about our space programs now that 3rd party for-profit companies are sending up payloads and there is talk of going back to the moon.  Dennis Dubro has researched several related topics and will present some of the current programs afoot — going back to the moon, earth recon, cube sats, space weapons and going to Mars with one of the proposals being to send a one-way mission where you would not plan on the logistics of coming back if a sustainable colony can be established.  There is also interest in getting the Vatican involved to establish a Mars calendar which would maintain feasts and days of worship
