CRMSJ Founder’s Gala 2026

The Committee for Restoration of the Mission San Jose (CRMSJ) thanks Parishioners who sponsored or attended our Meet Me at the Mission Founder’s Gala. The event SOLD OUT, and we raised over $60K, or about one-third of the amount needed to restore the exterior of the Mission Church!! Those in attendance enjoyed an evening of heritage, hospitality, and generosity along with a delicious meal by Saki’s Spin-A-Yarn and wine by Mission Peak Vineyards. Mayor Raj Salwan recognized CRMSJ for our “Dedicated Efforts to Preserve and Restore Historic Mission San Jose.” And the Supervisors of all five Districts of Alameda County united in a joint Proclamation recognizing the 229th Anniversary of Mission San Jose and the “ongoing preservation efforts led by Committee for Restoration of the Mission San Jose.”

If you would like to become a member, please go to www.crmsjca.org/support to join. Our 3rd Quarter General Meeting of 2026 will be a “Potluck Mixer” Saturday, September 12th (new date) with details to be announced.

Thank you once again to all who came, and my deepest gratitude to the ones who worked so hard to help put on this wonderful event. Men’s Ministry members Skip Phair, Jerome Hubacek, and Tom Leen played key leadership roles with their CRMSJ hats on, and Ron Brazil and Mike Gaffey were a huge help as well. Additional photos HERE.
