The St. Joseph Men’s Ministry enters December fresh out of a successful retreat at the St. Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Baptista. We enjoyed great weather, great food, and a full day and a half of prayer, instruction, discussion and reflection. A good time and place to get away and recenter ahead of the frenetic holiday season. We were even able to connect to members who could not physically attend via Zoom to let them know we were thinking about them.
If one doesn’t think the holiday season is busy enough, all one has to do is look to the parish activity calendar to see that that the events are nonstop. The St. Joseph Men’s Ministry will be playing its part in setting up the Christmas Nativity Scene (Creche) inside the main church and Christmas trees as needed. The SJMM will also be involved in the wonderful celebration that is Los Posadas the week preceding Christmas.
Lastly the SJMM will be having its traditional Christmas party in the St. Joseph Workshop on Saturday, December 6th. Men interested in the SJMM are welcome.
