Things have settled down for the SJMM after a very busy April and May.  At present upcoming activities in the parish are SJMM General Meeting – June 3, Fr. Anthony’s 10-year anniversary of his ordination – June 7, Mission Days – June 14-15, a day of recollection – June 21, and a ministry heads Meet ‘n Greet with the new pastor – June 25. 

While you are encouraged to participate in any or all of these events, the only requests on the SJMM so far are to loan our three canopies to the organizers of Fr. Anthony’s celebration and for parking assistance on that day.  Mike Gaffey is leading this and has asked for volunteers.  I and I believe Ashley have been invited to the Meet ‘n Greet.  I will extend an invitation to the new pastor to join us at out July general meeting.

Further afield, Lauri Kaefer approached us about BBQing at one or two community events in July and August.  Apparently, this is something that has been done in the past, but they relied on the Knights of Columbus in recent times.  At this time, this is just an idea.  More details to come.

Finally, on a happy note, Gary Dorighti is home and recovering.
