Each year we have a variety of events that focus on service. Example of events we have had in the recent past are:
- St. Joseph Schooll Accelerated Reader’s Lunch
- St. Joseph School 4th Grade Walk-a-Thon BBQ Lunch
- Olive Harvest BBQ Lunch for the Community
- Mission Fence Painting
- Dominican Orchard Prep
- Crèche, Tree, & Nativity Set-up & Tear-Down
- Scholarships – 6th Grade & 12th Grade Joe Faria Memorial Scholarship
- Cash Donations to Sr. John Marie’s Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul, Feeding the homeless, & Boy Scout Eagle Projects
We perform service projects in and around the church as well as out in the community. Sometimes as simple as doing yard work for a parishioner who is recovering from sickness. Larger projects range from painting, fence building, sprinkler system installation, or hosting a BBQ for the school, parish, or the homeless.
- Do you know of someone in the Saint Joseph Parish that needs help?

Men’s Club members ready the old orchard on Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose grounds for transformation into a planned community garden. This service project entailed pruning the trees and removing weeds and debris from the soil followed by applying many yards of mulch and deep watering for the healthy trees.
